Divorce & Separation Legal Clinic

The Divorce and Separation Legal Clinic is a first step for women as they begin the divorce or separation process. The clinic is set in a small group and is led by a practicing attorney with experience in matrimonial law. Participants will learn about grounds for divorce, division of property, custody, visitation rights, maintenance, child support, and other related matters. The workshop format allows participants to ask questions relating to their individual problems, to learn from other participants' experiences and to gain strength from a community of women.

The clinic meets at at 1:15 pm on the second Friday of every month and at 6:30 pm on the third Monday of every month. Registration is required; Call (212) 627-9895. A $15 donation is requested. No one is turned away because of inability to pay.

Employment Law Clinic

The Employment and Labor Law Clinic is dedicated to addressing issues relating to employee rights in the workplace with an emphasis on harassment and discrimination. It functions like a seminar and will focus on providing information about: a) the right to be free from discrimination and harassment; b) how to determine what to do if you are being discriminated or harassed, c) what options you have if you are being discriminated or harassed d) what potential remedies you have if you are being discriminated or harassed; e) how to collect evidence if you are being discriminated or harassed; f) what you can do to maximize your rights and remedies if you are being discriminated or harassed. The clinic format allows for a question & answer period, following the preliminary seminar. 

The clinic meets on the third Wednesday of every month. Registration is required call (212) 627-9895. A $15 donation is requested. No one is turned away because of inability to pay.
