Building Women's Leadership

How is it possible that the U.S. ranks so low - behind Rwanda and even Iraq - in women's political representation? If we want to see concrete changes to policies that impact women - such as innovative workplaces, child care, paid maternity leave, reproductive rights, and women's health - then we need more women in positions of power. NOW-NYC's Political Action Committee puts electing pro-choice and pro-women leaders at the top of its agenda. In addition, NOW-NYC and the Service Fund host a continuum of programs that aim to foster women's individual growth and leadership skills.
