Research has shown that lesbians, bisexual women, and transgender people have a greater concentration of risk factors for cancer, and participate in routine medical care and screenings at lower rates than the general population. The goal of LCI is to make available the information needed by lesbians, bisexual women, and transgender people and to address our community’s needs and concerns.
