Offers a legal advice hotline, as well as a referral service for low-income residents. Will offer advice for any legal situation, but specializes in divorce and bankruptcy issues. Conducts a pro se uncontested divorce clinic, a general law clinic, and a bankruptcy law clinic for low-income residents.

They provide individuals throughout New York State with referral information to more than 594 free legal service organizations as well as thousands of "Know Your Rights" and self-help resources. On this site, you will find an instructional video, a mirror site in Spanish, and resources in over 30 languages. Find help with issues such as immigration, family & juvenile, internet fraud, health, public benefits, seniors, and more.

Divorce and Separation

NOW-NYC's Service Fund Divorce and Separation Legal Clinic

A family law attorney and an accountant will answer your questions and provide information about divorce in New York. Please bring information concerting you assets and debts to go over with the accountant.
The clinic meets on the third Tuesday of every month. Registration is required, there is a suggested donation of $15.
