Our Women of Power & Influence Awards honor exemplary women who have boldly forged their way to the top of their career fields and have made their mark as role models for aspiring female professionals. Established in 1988, the award celebrates the accomplishments of women who embody intelligence and perseverance and who share a commitment to advancing women's rights, opportunities, and quality of life. Past awardees include Nicole Miller, Mary Jo White, Alexandra Lebenthal, Joy Behar, Gloria Steinem, Honorable Elizabeth Holtzman and Ruth Whitney.

The proceeds from this annual gala event support NOW-NYC and help us continue to shape the national and local agenda on women's issues, elect pro-choice leaders, nurture young activists, provide referrals and direct services to women in need, and spearhead campaigns to create social and legal change on critical issues.
